Can wallpaper be installed over textured walls?
For most wallcoverings, the surface needs to be smooth, sound, clean, and properly primed. Texture may need smoothing before installation so it does not show through or interfere with adhesion. Send photos of your walls so Damon can assess the preparation needed.
Do you install grasscloth and wallpaper on ceilings?
Yes. Damon installs grasscloth, specialty wallcoverings, and wallpaper on flat and sloped ceilings. Grasscloth can have natural variations and visible seams; the material and layout should be reviewed before work begins. Ceiling height, access, and pattern matching affect the installation plan.
How much wallpaper should I order?
Send the width and height of each wall, along with the manufacturer's product link or roll dimensions and pattern repeat. The estimate needs to account for trimming, matching, and the room layout—not just total square footage. Confirm quantities before ordering, and use the same production lot where possible.
What information do you need for an estimate?
Include your city, room photos, wall widths and heights, wallpaper product information, current wall condition, and preferred timing. Mention existing wallpaper, textured walls, high ceilings, or tricky angles. Use the inquiry form below or email perdido.pnp@gmail.com.
What affects wallpaper installation cost?
Price depends on the wall condition, preparation and removal needed, material, pattern repeat, room layout, ceiling height, and access. Delicate or untrimmed wallcoverings and complex ceiling work may require extra time. Damon reviews these details to provide a project-specific estimate.
